I’m an Englishman living in Northern California. I love directing and I know how to produce. I consider myself very lucky to be directing and working with talented crews. 300 films under my belt and still counting.

Andy was the first and only director who has asked me to edit on set. Andy is fast. He likes speed, and it’s this distinction I think of when I compare him to other directors. We can review rushes and begin assembling sequences immediately, making technical and creative choices in the moment. It’s lead to a longstanding creative partnership. I particularly enjoy working with Andy because there is a lot of trust and freedom. Andy knows what he wants, he gives me the freedom to execute ideas and there’s the space and understanding to discuss and experiment, but if he doesn’t like a direction he tells me and we move on and he’s always present.
